Maïté Jeannolin & Charlotte Marchal
Maïté Jeannolin is a french dancer and performer based in Brussels. After studying in P.A.R.T.S, she works with different choreographers such as Benjamin Vandewalle, Philippe Saire and Radouan Mriziga.She has developed a growing interest for collective creation, mixing pluridisciplinary approaches. It resulted in different collaborations (concert/performance, cine concert, films...), an ongoing collaboration with Charlotte Marchal with whom she directs films and "Coupé Décalé" a curation platform organized in Brussels since 2015 bringing together cinema, performance and anthropology.
Charlotte Marchal has graduated from INSAS in section Image and works as director of photography on different short and medium lenghts films. ( "Tohu-Bohu" Juliette Penant, "Ritournelle" Camille Deleu, "Wolvenvacht" Louise De Groef,"Coda"Ewa Brykalska...) She is also working as an assistant on long feature films. She directs in 2015 « Saison », a project commissioned for the Museum Maison Losseau. Her practice of cinema extends to video art in collaboration with various artists such as Lola Gonzalez, Dirk Hendrikx, Lionel Esteve and Maïté Jeannolin.
Their film TABLEAUX, Paysages premiers is a contemporary re appropriation of a rite of passage, a symbolical journey through the colors of a trance night.
