Marta Krzeslak often works with space by creating installations and site-specific projects. In her works she uses different media such as sculpting, video and photography. Her works refer to forces of nature in connection with human activity. She works mostly in her garage. She became laureate in domestic and international competitions i.a. became a finalist of the Hestia Artistic Journey Award (2016) and was awarded in Młode Wilki (2015) in Szczecin, took part in WRO Media Art Biennale (2016) She was a recipient of the Achievements Scholarship given by the Marshal of Lodz City (2016). Her works were shown in many collective and individual exhibitions in i. a. the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Lodz Modern Art Museum, Labirynt Gallery in Lublin, Art Academy in Szczecin, Vilnius Academy of Art, HfBK Dresden, Matca Gallery in Romania, Bomb Factory in London. She attended: Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz (2013-18), Warsaw Academy of Art (2016-17), École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon (2017-2018).
Her film A SPATIAL COMPOSITION is a recording of spontaneous activity in the space of her garage. She detaches the objects she finds inside from their usual function, which makes them stand out in the everyday reality remembered by the recipient. The piece is also an observation of how particular forms influence each other, creating abstract images at the same time.
