Kendra Lohr is a visual artist, filmmaker, and writer concerned with getting at where the True is. She is a graduate from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a dual BFA degree in Ceramics and Animation. Regardless of material, her work is often created in a collaged mindset and incorporates a mixed media approach.
She is intrigued by artificial spaces on every scale, from her own dramatic states of mind to the further reaching influence of commercial spaces and accepted societal norms. She also gives a lot of thought to the effect of time like what changes over it and is anything constant or even should it try to be?
She really tries to interpret the layers of everything that she gets caught up in, finding where the realness is in the superficial. What constitutes the entirety of an illusion?
